Are you purchasing a CT or MRI from another Site and are not sure of the system condition or specifications?
We perform site inspection and provide you with a well documented report and recommendations on how best to proceed with your MRI or CT de-installation project.
Are you purchasing a CT or MRI from another site and are trying to get your head around planning the de-installation?
We will perform a full system inspection and function check and provide you with a well-documented and comprehensive system report.
I am purchasing a CT/MRI from another site, can you help me with this project?
We can provide you with the following service:
– System Condition, Quality and Specification Inspection and Report
– Full site inspection with recommendation and planning for de-installation
– Coordination with Hospital/Clinic as well as any such as crane, transport, etc
– Deliver the system to your wanted destination.
Additionally, we can provide the same service for re-installing the system at the new destination.
Can you just handle the complete logistics, installation and calibration so I don't have to worry about it?
Yes, this is a service we provide for many of our clients.
Should I get a team to handle the MRI transportation and another team to handle the installation?
You can use different teams, but we don’t recommend it. Transportation and freight companies are not MRI specialists, so they would not necessarily handle the expensive equipment with the same care and consideration as a professional. It is always immensely simpler if you use an MRI or CT specialist to oversee all aspects of the installation.
Where do you do installations? Do you operate global?
We have installed Siemens MRI and CT Scanner all over the world. Every country poses different challenges. Contact us directly to discuss specifics about your location and needs.
Do you only do installations of Siemens MRI or CT Scanners?
We specialise in Siemens MRI and CT Systems. However, we also offer our services on other systems. Feel free to contact us.
How long does it take to remove an MRI or CT System?
An MRI system can be successfully de-installed and removed in 2-4 days. A CT System typically takes 1-3 days to remove and deinstall.
Why is a site inspection recommended before a deinstallation?
When removing or de-installing an MRI or CT Scanner, many considerations must be planned to make the removal as smooth as possible. For example, exits routes, hight of doorways, newly constructed wall that were not present at the time of installation, etc.
Site inspections are carried out before the project so we can do complete planning to guarantee a successful deinstallation.
Can you just handle the complete logistics, installation and calibration so I don't have to worry about it?
De-install requires removal teams, an engineer to ramp down the system and ensure its functionality is documented before shut down, and a crane and building crew. And, of course, transportation.
While we don’t handle every aspect personally, we work closely with our clients to help coordinate every step with other contractors.
Is it necessary to have an MRI engineer on site for removal?
An engineer is vital to ensure the integrity and de-installation of your system. Since it is an expensive piece of equipment, we recommend an engineer’s presence during the removal of the system.
Can arching X-ray tubes be repaired?
In some cases, yes. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly with specific information about the system.
My helium level is low, what do I do?
If your MRI is giving alerts regarding helium levels, it is vital to contact a service engineer immediately. There is a natural loss of Helium (boil-off), in which case a routine refill must be scheduled. However, there are also instances where service is required to avoid further Boil-off. If you don’t know the age of your Helium compressor or Coldhead, or if it is over five years old, you may need to plan a replacement. Feel free to contact us. We will be happy to point you in the right direction or provide the service required.
There are artifacts (lines, graininess) in my image.
There are many reasons for Image artefacts. Not all indicate a damaged component. Contact us with specifics, and we will help get the issue resolved.
